Glow — Support

Last updated 24 September 2026

Glow is built by one person, so an email here reaches the person who wrote the app rather than a support queue. Most answers are on this page; if yours is not, write and you will get a reply.

Replies usually come within two working days. If something is broken and stopping you using the app, say so in the subject line and it goes to the front.

Your subscription

How the free trial works

Glow opens with a three-day free trial. Nothing is charged during it. If you do not cancel before the three days are up, the plan you chose starts and renews on its own until you cancel it.

Cancelling

Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by Glow, so they are cancelled on your iPhone rather than in the app. Glow cannot cancel one for you — Apple does not give apps that power.

Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Glow → Cancel Subscription.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or the current period ends, or Apple charges for the next one. You keep access until the period you have already paid for runs out.

Refunds

Apple takes the payment, so Apple handles refunds. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account and choose the purchase. Glow has no way to issue a refund directly, but if something went wrong on our side, email and you will get a note confirming it that you can attach to your request.

Restoring a purchase on a new phone

Sign in to Glow with the same account, and if the subscription does not appear, open the paywall screen and press Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account that made the original purchase, otherwise Apple has nothing to restore.

Your account

The sign-in code has not arrived

Deleting your account and everything in it

In the app: Profile → Privacy & data → Delete my account and all my data. You type the word delete to confirm, because it cannot be undone.

This removes your photographs, diary entries, routine and account. If you signed in with Apple, it also tells Apple to unlink Glow from your Apple Account. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription — Apple holds that separately, so cancel it first using the steps above.

Getting a copy of your data

Email info@glowskin.health from the address on your account and ask. You will get everything Glow holds about you in a readable file.

Sharing with a clinic

Nothing reaches a provider unless you enter their code and switch on each item yourself. Every item has its own switch and every switch can be turned back off, which stops the sharing from that moment. If you want a connection removed entirely, open the Share tab and disconnect, or email and it will be done for you.

What Glow will not do

Glow describes what is visible in a photograph and helps you keep track of a routine. It does not diagnose anything, it does not give you a score or a rating, and it is not a substitute for a professional.

If something on your skin is changing quickly, bleeding, painful, or simply worrying you, see a doctor or a dermatologist. Do not wait to see what the app says.

Reporting something that looks wrong

If a photo reading says something that seems plainly incorrect, send the date of the entry and what it said. Those reports are the main way the descriptions get better, and they are read individually.
